02 March 2010 | Posted by simon in All Good News, General
Yah! Kiwis have now split, peeled and munched their way through the first 20,000 bunches of All Good Fairtrade Bananas. Our grand plan is to sell 100,000 bunches by Fairtrade Fortnight by the 1st of May. We need your help to get the word out. Tell your family, friends, neighbours – anyone who will listen all about these little beauties.

very glad about fairtrade bananas here now. However the plastic packaging causes me much aguish – aren’t the bananas adequately packaged already? – perhaps you could just have a paper / card tag or tie for the branding?
This is great news but I see that they’re wrapped in plastic. That’s not great news.
We’re not happy with it either!! We need to put them in the bags to keep them separate from the loose non-Fairtrade bananas in stores. But we are working on an alternative and hope to have some updates for you soon. We’ll keep you posted via the blog and facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/All-Good-Bananas/318800862436?ref=ts
We’re working on it!! We hate the bags too and we’re trying to find a better and more sustainable alternative. We’ll keep you posted!
